# HK Vision / Tai Po 360 — Visual Business Directory
## Concept
Complete visual directory of HK businesses — 360 landing pages per shop, mapped and searchable. Built grassroots: walk every street, photograph every business, launch, get news coverage, THEN sell.
**Core insight:** Small HK businesses (key cutters, plumbers, hotels, dentists) have zero web presence. Platform makes them discoverable. 360 content is the differentiator. Path-based URLs: hkvision.com/taipo/starbucks
**Revenue model:**
- Free basic listing (shop photo + name + category + location)
- Paid premium (HK$500-20,000/year): 360 landing page, AI-generated description, featured placement, ad-free
- Tiered by business type: hotels > dental/medical > law firms > restaurants > local shops
- Ad revenue once traffic builds
**Competitive positioning:** Yellow Pages for 21st century. Google Maps + OpenRice don't cover every HK business with rich visual pages.

### Phase 1: Build the Map (Weeks 1-2)
- Walk every street of Tai Po with 360 camera (phone backup for street-level shots)
- Photograph every business: name, shop front, category
- Use AI to: OCR business names, infer categories, enrich data (phone, hours, web presence)
- No sales yet — just content creation
### Phase 2: Soft Launch (Week 3)
- Simple landing page showing the work: "Tai Po 360: The first complete visual directory of our district"
- Sample pages live
- Platform shows coverage by street
### Phase 3: Press / News (Week 4)
- Local HK media outreach: HK01, SCMP, local Facebook/WhatsApp groups, RTHK/TVB local
- Story angle: "Local resident photographs every business in Tai Po to build visual directory before asking them to pay"
- News coverage = social proof before sales pitches begin
### Phase 4: Sell (After coverage)
- Door-to-door sales with live demo on phone

## Key Insight: Hotels + Medical
Hotels pay much more (HK$5,000-20,000/year) for 360 tours of rooms/lobby. Dental/medical practices (HK$2,000-5,000) are trust-driven and patients search for them online. Start with these high-value verticals in the walk.
